Physician
Dr. Emad Soliman, MD, MSc
While most people don't discover their calling so early, Emad Soliman, MD, MSc, knew he wanted to become a doctor when he told his third-grade class it was "a job of mercy." That conviction led him to a career in neurology, where he now serves as chief of neurology at Westchester Neurological Consultants in Yonkers, New York.
After earning admission to the prestigious seven-year medical program at Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, Dr. Soliman pursued excellence from the start, graduating in the top 3% of his class. He later earned a Master of Science in immunology and molecular biology from Long Island University and completed his internship and residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.
He further specialized in neuromuscular disorders through fellowship training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. With more than 17 years in private practice, Dr. Soliman has also held leadership roles as chief of neurology and director of stroke units at several hospitals across the New York area.
At Westchester Neurological Consultants, Dr. Soliman treats a wide range of conditions, including migraines, seizures, and Parkinson's disease. He is highly trained in advanced neurological diagnostics and treatments such as transcranial Doppler, electroencephalography, and neurocognitive testing.
